Paige DeBoer was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and has spent 13 years training and performing at local dance schools in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and modern.
While in high school, Paige performed in regional and national dance competitions with Dancers Edge, winning titles with duet and group works, and performed in pre-professional company works including “The Nutcracker,” “Salute to Broadway,” and “Jazz.” In addition, she attended and performed in Southeastern Regional Ballet Association (SERBA).
Paige graduated from UNC School of the Arts in 2013 with a degree in contemporary dance, and during her time there she performed works by Bill T. Jones, Larry Keigwin, Juel D. Lane, Trish Casey, and Grady Bowman. Paige studied at various summer programs including UNCSA Contemporary program, Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary Intensive, and Leon Dance Arts Intensive.
She is very interested in exploring the worlds of dance for film, acting, commercials, and music videos. Eager to discover what dance has in store for her, she hopes her work will provoke deep thought and strong emotion. Her goal is to produce work that is relatable, as both a performer and a choreographer.
