Ryan has been involved in gymnastics for over 20 years.
As a USAG gymnast, he won numerous awards and
competed at USAG Nationals three times. He has trained
under Jim Shaw and Robert Boudreaux. And, Ryan is a
nationally certified USAG judge.

He competed for the US Naval Academy NCAA team his
freshman year of college before transferring to UNCG
where he formed an NAIGC team. Since then, he has
helped to start three NAIGC college club teams and still
competes as part of the NAIGC Alumni Club twice per year.
He is a founding member of the NAIGC Board of Directors
and as such helped to establish it as a 501c3 non-profit
and co-developed the website and scoring software.

Currently he serves as co-coordinator of the NAIGC
Nationals each year. Ryan has coached gymnastics
and tumbling at Jim-Nastics Academy, Excel Athletics,
Wake Forest University, High Point University,
TheGymNC, and now Dancers Edge.

Ryan is an asset the DE staff and will bring
some great new things to our studio!
